The Blanche is a historic property in Lake City, Florida. Originally built in 1902 and used as a hotel, The Blanche is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a landmark in downtown Lake City. The Blanche features 22 apartments, 18 private offices, 14 short term rental units, co-working spaces, retail and event space making it one of the first mixed used developments in Lake City. As part of the redevelopment project, the City of Lake City closed a portion of Veterans street to create a pedestrian plaza to further activate downtown Lake City while also providing easier more walkable access to the Blanche’s store front retail.
